Aromatherapy Entrepreneurship

Aromatherapy Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart.

Entrepreneurship is not all about success. It is about the journey of self-discovery and personal development. You learn just how resilient and courageous you really can be.

Entrepreneurship is not glamorous. It takes hard work, perseverance, determination, mental strength, and emotional endurance. It means you have to keep pushing through, even on your toughest day when you feel defeated with a “I’m a loser” mentality.

In a world where everyone wants to be an entrepreneur, not many actually succeed at being one. But don’t let that discourage you. Use it as fuel to propel your dreams, activate a success mindset, and drive the actions necessary to create your own success.

5 tips for an Aromatherapy Entrepreneurship mindset

  1. Daily affirmations! These are positive reminders that you are strong, you are worthy, you are seen, you are heard, and you are important. It also keeps your energy, intentions, and focused in a positive direction, especially on those days when you are sluggish and fatigued.
  2. Set goals – daily, weekly, monthly, annually! Often times it is not the goal itself that is your accomplishment, but the journey to get there. Ste mini goals so you are always achieving something, every day. Set bigger goals with milestones that you can celebrate when a bigger project is accomplished.
  3. Dream big! The most successful people started with a dream that most could not comprehend. If you can dream, you can create it. Once you are clear on the dream, the how to get it will fall into place. It may take work, but you can make it happen.
  4. Evolution is constant. Don’t put yourself in a specific lane. You will need to shift and pivot, probably more times than you’d like. It’s ok to be inspired by others success. Just don’t limit what you can do by comparing yourself to others and trying to fit into what already exist. Pave the way for something better, new, and improved that continues moving yourself, and your product or services forward.
  5. Invest in personal development and self-care. If you are not a 100%, your business won’t be either. Read a book. Take a course. Get a personal coach. Do something that always challenges you to keep moving forward, keep growing forward, and keep making an impact.

What does every entrepreneur have in common?

Outside perception versus internal struggles. Although they are very different for each entrepreneur, they exist in everyone.

You will have good days where your momentum feels unstoppable. Then there will be days you struggle, feeling defeated, like a failure, and overwhelmed by responsibility. Those are the days you need to depend on your “reset reboot” ritual.

For me, it’s this –

  1. I have an Affirmation Board (printed out and as a document on my computer desktop screen). I read at least 10 affirmations, 5 times each. Really feeling what it feels like to be operating from that positive CEO mode. This helps shift my energy and frequency of what I am putting off in the universe.
  2. Then I grab 1-5 notes from my “Success Jar“. This is a jar that I fill with testimonies, compliments, stories, thank you’s, and successes I write down that I have accomplished. For example, if I get a testimony, I will print out the note and place it in the jar to remind me that I am helping others forge forward in the path of their dreams (life, health & business). It is reciprocal inspiration. When I read these, I remember the feeling of reading it for the first time, and it fills my heart with joy. It is a reminder that I am making a difference and motivates me to keep going.
  3. I then grab my Inspiration Journal. This is filled with ideas, dreams, and goals. After I read my affirmations and read my successes, I am inspired to think bigger & dream bigger of how I can make a greater impact. Not only with others, but for myself also (leading by example). I write down at least 3 things I can do to make something better, create a new solution, and serve others in a positive way.
  4. I make myself a “freestyle” aromatherapy diffuser blend using 2-5 essential oils. Whatever the first number that pops in my head, that is the number of oils I pick randomly from my essential oil box. I then add a couple drops of each to my room diffuser and run it for 20-30 minutes. This reinforces the mental journey I just unfolded. Sometimes I do this step first. It just depends on what I feel I need.

This process takes me anywhere from 20-35 minutes. I include it in my morning power hour, or my bedtime blessings hour.
